RICHARD J. SCHAPER, MBA, CMA – Senior Associate

Richard joined FNCP in 2009 and is responsible for helping to source and then analyze new investment opportunities, including the conduct of marketing and outreach activities, preparation of financial and other models, performing due diligence investigations, helping to structure and underwrite deals, reporting and subsequent investment monitoring. Richard has made a career utilizing strategic assessments, market analysis and financial models to provide evidence based financial counsel to businesses, foundations, financial institutions, and banks. Academically, he is an Adjunct Professor at National University and at Point Loma University where he teaches Accounting and Finance. At Grossmont Community College he was chair of his department and teaches Business and Entrepreneurship.

Richard earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Management at National University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, and an MBA from Arizona State University with a Certificate in Supply Chain Management. He is a Certified Management Accountant and previously had his Series 7 and 66 licenses.

Richard is currently on the board of the following organizations: Supervisory Committee, East County Schools Federal Credit Union; Director/Treasurer, KTR Claims Management; Budget Committee, Grossmont Community College; Institute of Managment Accountants - Global Board - Diversity and Inclusion Committee; Institute of Management Accountants - V.P. Administration - San Diego Chapter

LINDSEY BAKER, MBA – Director of Corporate Communications

Lindsey, is an independent designer, who has been involved with FNCP virtually from inception. She is a brand consultant and educator whose career in visual communications spans over 20 years. As the driving force behind her company, Lindsey Baker Design, she brings a multi-dimensional creative approach to FNCP particularly in the areas of marketing, brand management and corporate communications.

The projects she has completed for FNCP include design and development of the brand identity and all brand assets including the website; stewardship of brand communications and social media. She also consults with FNCP’s portfolio companies as needed.

Lindsey is a professor of visual communications at the Art Institute of California - San Diego and also works as an independent design consultant. Prior to that she held increasingly responsible positions in various design firms in both Los Angeles and New York. Lindsey earned her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from UCLA, completed postgraduate work at the School of Visual Arts and earned an MBA at Argosy University where she graduated with highest honors.
